Sony Bank Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Financial Holdings Inc., in an alliance with All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd., will begin issuing the ANA Mileage Club / Sony Bank WALLET in September 2019 (date tentative).
The ANA Mileage Club / Sony Bank WALLET is a multicurrency debit card that combines the ANA Mileage Club card and Sony Bank WALLET*. In addition to the basic features of the ANA Mileage Club card, the combined card allows the accumulation of mileage points for shopping at Visa member stores in Japan, as well as for banking transactions, including on foreign currency deposits and investment trusts.
Through this alliance with the ANA Group, Sony Bank aims to provide customers with even more convenient services.
* Sony Bank WALLET is a cash card with a Visa debit function that can be used with 11 currencies, including Japanese yen, US dollar and euro. In addition to shopping in more than 200 countries and regions around the world, cardholders can use the card to withdraw funds from their accounts via ATMs in Japan and overseas. No credit screening is required, the card is available to people aged 15 or older, and the card can be applied for from any location via the Internet. The card is issued along with the opening of a Sony Bank account.
